Sketching with light

“Things ain’t what they used to be and probably never was.” ~Will Rogers

What I Do

FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

“There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.” ~Ansel Adams

EDUCATION

Improve your photography with in-depth, small group workshops, or one on one mentoring.

GEAR HAPPENS

Of course it’s not so much about the camera but without the engineering in that little box of wonders we’d have to change the subject.

Plains

Living in Kansas near the Flint Hills, lakes and streams, has afforded ample opportunities to photograph the dynamic and ephemeral atmosphere enveloping the fauna present on the high plains of North America

Atmosphere

My heart may be at home on the high plains while my soul is at home in the mountains or by the sea shore yet my spirit soars in the atmosphere with the birds of the air among the clouds, the storms, and the rainbows that come after them.

Light in Darkness

“We all travel the Milky Way together, trees and men.” ~John Muir

FINAL THOUGHTS

The only photographer you should compare yourself to is the one you used to be.
